Colorful Hanukkah-themed earrings made from miniature dreidels, the four-sided spinning tops traditionally used during the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah.
A dreidel is a spinning top with four sides, each marked with a Hebrew letter:
ג (Gimel) — Gadol (“great”)
נ (Nun) — Nes (“miracle”)
ה (Hey) — Haya (“happened”)
ש (Shin) — Sham (“there”)
Together, these letters form the phrase:
"Nes Gadol Haya Sham" (נס גדול היה שם) — meaning “A great miracle happened there.”
In Israel, the fourth letter is פ (Pe) instead of ש (Shin), for “A great miracle happened here.”
Bright Festive Colors — Blue, Orange, Red, Purple, Yellow and Green — symbolizing the joyful nature of Hanukkah.
These earrings are both symbolic and decorative, celebrating the joy of Hanukkah.
